Diane M. Pearson, CFP®, CDFA®, PPC™ has over 30 years experience in the financial advisory profession. She has specialized expertise working with widowed, divorced and retirement-focused individuals.
Ms. Pearson has also been awarded the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) professional designation. As a CDFA®, she is qualified to serve as a financial expert on divorce cases, present data to support an argument, and educate clients on the short- and long-term financial implications of different divorce settlement proposals. Diane can assist divorcées by identifying and valuing the marital assets and liabilities as well as exploring creative solutions and options for distribution of the marital assets.
Diane is one of the first financial advisors in the country to earn the Professional Plan Consultants™ (PPC™) designation, recognizing her commitment to education and service excellence in the qualified retirement planning industry and helping clients understand the ERISA requirements for employer-sponsored retirement plans and their ability to carry out plan services with a fiduciary standard of care.
Diane graduated from Robert Morris University in 1983 with an Associate's degree in Accounting and in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Management. She is married to Alex, has two sons, Alex and David, and two Jack Russell Terriers, Sydney and Fleury.
Ms. Pearson is a professional mentor with Robert Morris University Women’s Leadership and Mentorship Program (WLMP). She was also a professional mentor for Strong Women, Strong Girls. She played defense for a women's ice hockey league from 2003 until 2013.
